How will your donation make a difference?

Asian short-clawed otters are facing habitat destruction, this has led to them being classified as 'vulernable' by the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature).

The International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF) is working to improve conservation efforts for otters by educating the public, rehabilitating injured animals, and reducing the illegal pet trade. Through extensive research, the IOSF gathers crucial data on otter populations, threats, and more to aid in their protection.

Education is a key focus for the charity, helping people better understand otters and how we can contribute to their survival. The IOSF is actively fighting against deforestation and the pet trade, while also establishing rehabilitation centres to nurse otters back to health and return them to the wild. Your donation can help the charity enhance their research, rehabilitation and education efforts.

You will often spot them playing and foraging in the waterfall that runs through the enclosure, keepers also host a daily feed at 11am and 12:30pm
