Why visit Woburn on an education trip?

  • Safari adventures by coach or bus as you travel through the Road Safari, coming face-to-face with a host of majestic animals
  • Discover more in the Foot Safari and get up close to the animals in their walk-through enclosures
  • Indoor and outdoor classrooms for fantastic learning experiences
  • Watch a full programme of talks and demonstrations with penguins, wallabies, and birds of prey

BASIC OPTION

£10.49 per student (on a post-16 course)

One adult free with every 10 students. Additional adults £10.49 each

Choose a 30-minute Educational Session in the indoor or an outdoor classroom, or adjacent to one of the animal enclosures in the Foot Safari.

These sessions can accommodate 30 students at one time.

ENHANCED OPTION

£11.49 per student (on a post-16 course)

One adult free with every 10 students. Additional adults £10.49 each.

Choose TWO of the following:

  • A tour guide for your coach as you travel through the Road Safari
  • A 30 minute Educational Session - held in either the indoor or an outdoor classroom, or adjacent to one of the animal enclosures in the Foot Safari (max 30 students per session)
  • Viewing of Plastic Oceans conservation mini movie in Sea Lion Cove (30 minute session, capacity limited, subject to availability).

Classroom Sessions

Select a free 30-minute teaching session in the indoor classroom or a choice of outdoor classrooms and walkthrough habitats, to suit the weather. These interactive sessions are curriculum-linked, using multimedia and animal artefacts. Choose from one of the following topics:

SAFARI TOUR GUIDE


Take a safari tour guide on board with you, as you travel through the Road Safari Reserves. Journey alongside rhinos, giraffes, lions, bears, and tigers, and learn about some of the most endangered wildlife on the planet.

Your guide will give you some valuable insights into the lives of the magnificent animals living at Woburn Safari Park. Enjoy an interactive commentary with loads of fascinating facts. This option is available with the Enhanced Package only.

FEEDING TIME

When it gets to 'feeding-time' there is a self-service restaurant and plenty of outdoor picnic areas. An indoor picnic area is also available for schools, please reserve spaces when you book. You can also pre-order ice lollies for £1.25 per person from our catering team. Call 01525 290406 to book ice lollies.

SOUVENIRS

Junglies Gift Shop is open for students to buy an animal themed book or souvenir of their visit and to pick up sweets and gifts to take home. Numbers are currently limited to 40 people at a time.

Booking Terms

If you cancel within 7 days of your trip, you will be charged the full amount. If you cancel within 14 days, you will be charged half the full amount. For cancellations more than 14 days before your visit date, you will not be charged.

Payment will be required one month before the date of your trip.

Prices are for Ofsted registered schools only. 

All prices include VAT.
